Why dont we write letters anymore?

With the advent of emails I stopped writing letters almost 10 years back. Even my mom does not write anymore. She calls the relatives and friends. But I still do believe that letters are definitely more personalised. The attached image tries to convey that very message.

very true....there was a time when i used to write long letters and recieve some back...they are still with me, reminding me of long gone days and friends...but now with email...almost forgotten the thrill of reiceving a letter, opening it and then reading it all at one go, and then again reading it slowly...

hmm... so true. i had a few penfriends from my school days with whom i developed real friendship through letters - one of them is still a very close friend, and we do write long letters on and off. but with emailing and chatting overpowering the letter and phone rates going down, general laziness does take over - and that's a pity!

by the way, nice picture! :)
